2024 Leigh-on-sea Art Trail Starts Next Week

The ever popular Leigh Art Trail returns to sunny Leigh-on-sea next week with more events, artists and venues than ever before. The Art Trail showcases the work of contemporary artists, designers and local school children from across our very creative town. The trail kicks off with a free event at 7.30pm on Thursday 4th July with Gaudeamus choir and some of the trail artists performing at St Clement's Church and closes on Sunday 14th July.

From Saturday 6th July you can make your way through Leigh-on-sea to see the work of all the local painters, sculptors, graphic designers, woodworkers, leaded glass artists, photographers, ceramicists, embroiders, 3D crafters, potters, printmakers, illustrators, jewellers and collage makers. As you can see, there is a variety of art to be seen! The Leigh Art Trail is a non-profit organisation, with the aim of celebrating local art from local artists within different local businesses… yes, it’s all very local but that’s why we love it.

Alongside the work on display there are also some wonderful free events not to be missed so pop along and enjoy:-

4th July at 7.30 pm - Gaudeamus choir & Art Trail Artists performance - St Clement's Church

6th July 11am to 2pm - Zara's Aerial Hoop Performances - Leigh Road Baptist Church (Free ticketed event please book)

6th & 7th July 10am to 3pm - Grief through a child's eyes exhibition - The Living Room, 191 Leigh Road

13th July 12pm to 3pm - Chalk Fest - Saint Pierre School, 16 Leigh Road

13th July 12pm to 4pm - Community spray-can-art mural spray painting - Leigh Road Baptist Church, Garden Entrance, Leigh Road

13th July 11am to 4pm & 14th July 12pm to 3pm - Primary Schools Art Exhibition - Saint Pierre School, 16 Leigh Road

13th & 14th July 11am to 4pm - Secondary Schools Art Exhibition - Leigh Road Baptist Church
