A Royal Affair

We all know what's happening this weekend! Tomorrow see's Chelsea take on Man U in the FA Cup Final! .... okay okay, let's back track a little and maybe remember something of a little more, how do we put this, patriotic affair!

At 12pm tomorrow, Prince Charles will walk Megan Markle down the isle (tears from us at the absence of her father) at St George's Chapel in Windsor to marry his son, Prince Harry. 

We're guessing our invite must have got lost in the post along with the likes of Donald Trump's, Theresa May's and yours, but don't worry, here's a few drink ideas to celebrate it in style at home... we'll leave the food bit to you! 

The Cucumber Royale 
- 1 oz of Hendricks Gin
- 0.25 oz of Belvoir Eldeflower Cordial 
- Champagne to top
- Lemon peel 

Combine the Edlerflower cordial, gin and ic into in a mixing glass. Stir until chilled. Strai into a glass. Top with champagne. Garnish with fresh lemon and cucumber 


High Noon 
- 0.25 oz of fresh grapefruit juice
- 0.75 oz of fresh Elderflower liqueur 
- 1.5 oz of Botanist Gin
- 6 oz of Tonic water
- Grapefruit to garnish

Pour the gin, grapefruit juice, elderflower liqueur and ice into a tall glass. Top with tonic water. Garnish with grapefruit trims. 


Beer - can't go wrong with a bottle or two from Leigh-on-Sea Brewery!
