Bronze Arts Award is coming to Focal Point Galley in 2022!

Arts Award is a fun, challenging and creative programme open to young people and learners of all levels and abilities aged 11 and over. It is a recognised national qualification. Focal Point Gallery is a centre for Arts Award and will once again be running the Bronze level for new participants – we are looking for participants for this programme!

Trained Arts Award Advisor, local artist, and photographer Laurence Harding runs sessions for Focal Point Gallery. The sessions explore the work of artists, exhibitions, and arts events, and participants learn how to build creative projects and share them with others.

Arts Award helps develop skills in drawing, painting, photography and more, building confidence and offering the chance to try new art forms.

Bronze Arts Award sessions begin at Focal Point Gallery on 24th February and take place every Thursday (excluding half term) from 3.45pm to 5.45pm.

We kindly ask all those who wish to complete the Bronze Arts Award to purchase their tickets online, you can either do this per session, £9 General Admission, and if you are also bringing a sibling along you can purchase an additional ticket for only £7. However, we now also offer a Complete Bronze Arts Award ticket which is for all 20 sessions needed to obtain the award for a discounted price of £170, with a Sibling Discount price of £130.
