C2C Train Driver dies

Sadly, the death of a C2C driver was behind major delays that took place yesterday - Tuesday 26th April.

British Transport Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 9pm but sadly, it is understood, despit best efforts the driver passed away. 

Services were quite drastically amended due to the incredibly sad incident.

C2C would like to thank everybody for their understanding last night and extend their condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the driver.
