Indoors!

• Make it a movie day! Snuggle up indoors with popcorn and chocolate, dim the lights and pick out your favorite family film!
• Do some baking or cook a family dinner together; your little ones will love helping you with all the prep work that you see as a chore!

• Make a play date; invite some friends round so that you and your little ones can catch up with some friends : )

Outdoors

Just because its raining doesn’t mean you cant venture out!

• Wrap up and head to Belfairs Woods for a walk and top it off with a yummy hot chocolate at the café! Put together a mini ‘animal hunt’ sheet and get your little ones spotting birds, dogs, snails etc!
• Head to your local swimming pool; many of them from Benfleet through to Southend are actually open today!
• Play centre? Call them directly to see if they’re open. For Under 5’s Farmer Freds in Benfleet is open today!
• Cinema? What with it being school holidays, there is a great listing of films on at the moment. Visit your local cinema website for films and times
