Free Festival Events this Weekend in Leigh-on-sea In Aid of Folk Festival
Free Festival Events this weekend in Leigh-on-sea.
Although the very popular local Leigh-on-sea Folk Festival is not happening this year. Local organisers have planned some exciting events this weekend in order to raise funds for next years Festival.
Free music and entertainment can be found on 28th, 29th and 30th July at Cafe Bar Hogar Del Mar, at Clements Arcard just off Leigh Broadway. With lots of Bands and workshops these events are free to attend but donations will be warmly welcomed.
The Fishermen’s Chapel in New Road, Leigh-on-sea are also hosting a 3 day fundraising event for the Leigh Folk Festival this weekend, 28th – 30th June. Some amazing musicians have generously offered support and will be playing upstairs, and there will be a cafe run by the Chapel downstairs. Entry is free, but funds raised from collections will go to the Leigh Folk Festival.
The weather is looking great for these events so pop along and support.
