Fund your business without being a Scrooge

At this time of year there is every chance that money is almost definitely on your mind, having spent far too much on presents and the various parties that you’ve been to.

So with money in focus you would probably like to know of ways were you can raise funds for your business in the coming months, as easily as possible. Many businesses are happy to continue with traditional methods such as loans and overdrafts but there are alternatives that can provide cash to your business.

For example there are over 800 undersubscribed grant schemes funded by UK or EU Governments. As long as you select correctly and complete all the documentation you may well be eligible to receive funding.

Next there are R&D tax incentives. The Government has set aside over £2bn to fund innovation for all types of businesses. It covers developing new products, processes, software, materials, services and even packaging. So many more companies than you might think could get assistance.

Finally one of the largest and undermanaged cash flow areas of a business is VAT. Try to get a better overview of your VAT cash flow. With minor changes to your processes you may be able to vastly improve your cash balance or cash flow for your business.

So with a little bit of research you could start 2016 with fresh ways of thinking how to fund the growth of your business. If you’d like any further information or free advice call Chorus Business Advisers on 0845 8671263 or email [email protected]
