Henry Burgers - Our Review!

It was only a matter of time before we at leigh-on-sea.com visited Henry Burgers to put together an official review… okay, so it was somebody’s birthday, but any excuse is a good excuse right!???

 
Since opening the doors of the second ‘Henry Burgers’ in Leigh of August of this year, this restaurant, renowned for its perfect complimentary combination of burgers and cocktails, has really brought a fun, cool and alternative way to eat out in Leigh!  

The menu is diverse enough to keep any meat eater happy and in there element for many a visit, but not too diverse that after a few (and a few more) of their home made cocktails, the selection process becomes, how can we put this, unnecessarily complicated!

From your traditional ‘Beef Burger’, the ‘Big Chilli’ (think beef patty, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, red onion, home made onion rings and BBQ Sauce) to the vegetarians ultimate ‘Squash’ (think butternut squash, rocket, red onion relish, sriracha mayo), these mouth watering, well put together, towers of joy, don’t have to just come alone!!!  

Yes sides…..sides of anything from crispy Sweet Potato Fries, homemade coleslaw to beef & marrow chilli are just a few of what’s on offer to compliment your beef, chicken, vegetarian burger or hotdog!

As a table of 10 of us, we pretty much tasted a little of all of what was on offer and I can confidentially say, there wasn’t one sitting of disappointment!  

And if you’re eating, then it would be rude not to quench your thirst with a little selection from their cool and disparate drinks or cocktail menu! Take your pick from a simple bottle of beer to a luxury Porn Star Martini cocktail (a vodka and passion fruit enthused liquor WITH a side of champagne) …..

Will we be visiting Henry Burgers again? Oh go on then! 

Prices start from £7.50 for a hotdog and kids menu’s are available from just £5 along with smoothies, deserts and milkshakes!
