International jazz star gives free concert!

Hear legendary jazz trumpeter Digby Fairweather in a captivating recital at Southend Civic Centre on Wednesday 9th December.

Digby will present a thrilling 45-minute programme accompanied by jazz pianist, Chris Kibble from 12:15pm until 1pm.

This acclaimed duo has performed in some of the world’s most iconic jazz venues, including Ronnie Scott’s, and in major jazz festivals across the UK and overseas.

The recital in the comfortable surroundings of the Council Chamber at Southend Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend, is part of the Council’s popular series of lunchtime concerts.

These offer residents and visitors the chance to enjoy top quality live music free, and give the performers an opportunity to demonstrate their talents locally.
