It's 'cool' to live in Leigh . . .

Nestling in a list that features Whitstable, Stockbridge in Edinburgh, Manchester's Northern Quarter, Jericho in Oxford, and Kemp Town in Brighton is Leigh-on-Sea. Why? Because the Times have deemed our Old Leigh waterfront and cultural vibe as depicted by the Art Trail as the epitome of cool. Other factors on which this decision to include Leigh in its list of "30 coolest places in Britain"  are the presence of coffee bars, culture, and independent shops - all of which Leigh has oodles.
