Leigh artist exhibits at Chelsea Flower Show

Doors open to the public tomorrow, Thursday, for the annual Chelsea Flower Show. This year, it's centenary year, sees Leigh teacher and mum of two, Sarah Jarman exhibiting for the first time with her two colleagues from Jam Garden Design. 

The trio reached the final of this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show Fresh Talent competition. Their piece, 'Bird Columny', took three days to set up and features metal sculptures, out-sized birds' nests, bird-friendly plants, patches of nettles and a dustbin lid water bath. 

Sarah is curently studying horticulture at Capel Manor College in Enfield.
