Leigh-on-Sea Heritage Trail

A number of much loved sites such as Leigh Library, St. Clement’s Church and the history of the cockle boats in the old Town are all commemorated. The trail is looped, and colour coded with stages to mark the town’s development and at approx. 1.8 miles long, will take between 45-60 minutes to complete. It accessible to everybody but you may wish to note that sturdy footwear is recommended!

The map can be accessed via smart phone, ipads or tablets; the Google map app is required though. Schools also can easily adapt this trail to make it interactive for Kids, and fun day out to help learn more about your heritage and celebrate what a beautiful historical town we live in.
