Leigh-on-Sea Town Council Annual Town Meeting

Friday 20th March 2015

The Leigh-on-Sea Annual Town Meeting will be held at Leigh Community Centre on Friday 20th March 2015. The formal proceedings will commence at 7.30 pm, but Elsie’s Place, the café within the Community Centre will be open from 6.30pm serving refreshments.

The meeting will include reports of the Town Council’s activities over the past year along with the presentation of the Good for Leigh Awards, awarded to Leigh residents and organisations that the Town Council feel have made an outstanding contribution to the community in Leigh. All this will run alongside a small exhibition showing activities in the Town and Community Centre and local issues in which the Town Council is taking a special interest. At the close of the meeting, Cllr David Stanley will provide background music in the café area alongside a bar.
