Local entrepreneurs Tweet to compete for luxury hamper

Businesses across Essex are being urged to take to social media to share their best business tips ahead of the launch of a new business support service.

The Business Essex, Southend and Thurrock (BEST) Growth Hub, based at The Hive Enterprise Centre on Victoria Avenue, Southend, officially launches its service at Chelmsford Racecourse on 21 October with support partners and local dignitaries from across the county in attendance.

In the run-up to the launch, entrepreneurs are being urged to share their best business tips on Twitter, with a prize hamper being awarded to the Tweet that receives the most retweets and favourites. The competition runs from Monday 19th to midday on Friday 23rd October, and entries must use @BESTGrowthHub and #BestBizTip. On order to win, your company must have no more than 250 employees.

The BEST Growth Hub aims to help businesses to realise their potential with free business support for growth. It provides a focal point for businesses that are looking to increase their competitiveness and grow – as well as supporting people looking to start a new business - by offering tailored packages of advice, training, and networking. BEST has a team of business navigators who are mobile throughout the county and are able to support your business needs.
