Since re launching as London Southend Airport in March 2012, news has spread like wild fire of its non-fuss, easy to access and home within an hour of landing offering!

With over £100 million of private sector funds invested into the Airport since The Stobart Group took it over in 2008, it really is of no surprise, that big named airlines are wanting to join the likes of Easyjet, at what is fast becoming Essex Residents ONLY airport option!

Once more known and utilized for weekends away to the likes of Jersey,  London Southend Airport can now fly to destinations 1000’s of miles away, with New York, San Francisco and Orlando proudly on its list! (via Air Lingus)

And its not just long haul flights that are possibilities out of this small, but perfectly formed airport, you can now find package holidays to Mallorca through Thomson & First Choice! Just think, you could literally leave home and within 5 hours be on the beach!

Most recently wanting ‘a piece of the sky’ at London Southend Airport is Flybe & Skywork offering approximately 10 new locations to the Airports boastful flight timetable including Newquay & Anterp!!
