Lorry crashes into property in police pursuit on A127
A lorry crashed into a property during a police pursuit in the early hours of this morning.
The driver, jumped out of the cab, whilst it was still moving on the A127 Southend bound where it then crashed into a property in Ashanti Close.
Officers engaged in a pursuit of a red DAF lorry shortly after 2:30am following the activation of an ANPR camera.
A 44 year old man from Westcliff has been arrested on suspcicion of theft from a vehicle and remains in custody.
