Don’t miss the Palace Theatre’s two-day cinematic event in association with The White Bus.

On Sunday 12 and Monday 13 October, The Palace Theatre will travel back to the early 1900s to commemorate the First World War.

The day will include screenings of documentaries, television clips and films in both the Dixon and the Main House, tours of the building and the opportunity to listen to historical speakers and view artefacts of the period.

Sunday 12 October will include a 1pm viewing of the acclaimed 1930 version of All Quiet on the Western Front and a 5pm viewing of Oh! What a Lovely War starring John Mills in the main house with running documentaries from the period The Battle of the Somme and The Battle of Ypres in the Dixon Studio.

The following day continues with a 10.30am and 1.30pm showing of 2011’s War Horse with the same documentaries running through the day in Dixon Studio.

Tickets are just £5, and the costcovers one of the main house films and the ability to access the other activities taking place in the theatre on that day.

To book tickets please visit our website palacetheatresouthend.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01702 351135.
