RYLAN RETURNS TO THE CLIFFS PAVILION PANTOMIME AS THE FAIRY GODFATHER IN CINDERELLA

Southend Theatres and Crossroads Pantomimes have announced that Rylan will returning to Southend by popular demand to headline this year’s Cliffs Pavilion pantomime, Cinderella, playing the Fairy Godfather from Sat 13 Dec 2025 to Sun 4 Jan 2026.
Award-winning television presenter, radio DJ, podcaster and number one bestselling author, Rylan, has carved out a successful career as one of the UK’s most loved broadcasters. Known for hosting Eurovision, Celebrity Gogglebox, Homophobia Football and Me, BBC Radio 2’s Rylan on Saturday and the smash-hit series Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour, with the highly anticipated series 2 coming later this year to the BBC.
On his return to the Cliffs Pavilion pantomimes, Rylan said:
“That’s right - I’m back for another year of panto and I’ll be your Fairy Godfather at the Cliffs Pavilion this Christmas. I had such a blast last year, and the audience in Southend are second to none. See you at the ball!”
As the Fairy Godfather, Rylan will be on hand to bring the necessary magic to help Cinders as she goes from rags to riches, outwits her very wicked sisters and meets her Prince Charming.
Michael Harrison, Chief Executive of Crossroads Pantomimes said: “I’m delighted that Rylan will be returning to the Cliffs Pavilion this Christmas following a triumphant season last year leading the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk. Rylan is a true showman, and brings much hilarity to panto – we can’t wait to see him as The Fairy Godfather this year”.
Nick Parr, Theatre Director at Southend Theatres said:
“Once again, Michael Harrison and the team at Crossroads Pantomimes will be bringing panto magic to the Cliffs this December and we are all delighted that Rylan has agreed to return and join us back in Southend-on-Sea this year. Pantomime at the Cliffs is always the highlight of our year, and we can’t wait to bring this stunning production to our stage.”
Packed with all of the traditional pantomime ingredients Cliffs Pavilion audiences expect, Cinderella features laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.
Cinderella will play at The Cliffs Pavilion, Southend, from Saturday 13 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026. Book your tickets before the clock strikes midnight!
