Southend Airport submit plans to extend

Southend Airport have submitted plans to Rochford District Council that if approved, will see the airport extended in two key areas.

The multi-million pound proposal, which if approved, is expected to see works commence in early 2018, will see an extension to the northern end of the terminal improving baggage and reclaim facilities and a extension to the southern end of the terminal building housing a new baggage sorting area and screening systems.
