The First Aid Fairies... who EVERY parent needs!
The First Aid Fairies are just what EVERY parent needs!
We have all had the joy of becoming parents, attending class after class of antenatal in the lead up to bringing our buddles of joy into the world BUT, how many of us would actually know what to do when it comes to First Aid as our children grow?
Would you know what to do if your little one year old was choking? Woudl you know what to do if your child stopped breathing? Do you know how to effectively deal with a burn?
For just £10, the First Aid Fairies could teach you how to save a life!
The First Aid Fairies are fully qualified first aid instructors, licensed to deliver HSE and OFSTED recognized certificated courses. They also have a wealth of practical front line experience and hands on knowledge from their emergency service backgrounds. All of their courses are informative, relaxed, enjoyable and practically based. Their aim is for every student to leave a course with the practical knowledge and confidence to apply their skills in an emergency situation if needed.
They have designed a 3hr first aid course to cover babies and children because they have recognized first aid courses are often inaccessible and expensive to the average person. Pregnant ladies, mothers, fathers, grandparents and babysitters etc do not necessarily need a recognized certificate, yet they will want to know the practical knowledge and skills a first aid course provides.
The course is a 3hr practically based course which covers everything from prevention tips to CPR and choking. Their manikins and training equipment are top of the range and realistic to provide the best training outcomes. They have ample amounts of equipment, so as everyone in the group will have plenty of hands on practice and they provide a follow up email reiterating points covered and theory aspects of the course, this acts as a fantastic point of reference. It also includes useful links such as NHS childhood illnesses.
These life saving courses are run on the first Tuesday of every month at the Leigh on Sea, Community Centre in Elm Road. The price is an amazing £10 per person and they do limit the group to 12 so booking is essential.
Fancy training with your friends from the comfort of your own home? First Aid Fairies can also attend a group or your home for £100. They do say be realistic to how many people you can get in the room, most front rooms will take 5. Bookings can be taken directly through their website on http://www.firstaidfairies.co.uk or by telephone on 0333 121 0171
In line with their article on leigh-on-sea.com The First Aid Fairies are offering £30 off a home visit to you and your friends, normally £100! This includes a 3 hour First Aid Training Course where you will learn how to save a life!
