The Pirates of Treasure Island Competition

Starring Edele Lynch (B*Witched) and Si Sloane (CBBC). ‘The Pirates Of Treasure Island’ is based on the British Literature classic, Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson.

This swash buckling adventure, first published in 1883, was originally serialised in a children’s magazine, and is considered to be the original pirates tale, and is packed with treasure maps, bearded one legged pirates, tropical islands, parrots, mutiny, and the dreaded black spot!

This version of the tale is an adaptation of the children’s classic, and blends the best of storytelling, pantomime and musical theatre, to create a spectacular adventure for the whole family.

In ’The Pirates Of Treasure Island', our hero, Captain Smollett, must battle an onslaught of evil pirates, including the wicked Captain Blackbeard, (a character based on a real life pirate from the 1700’s!), and beat off a mutiny lead by ships cook Long John Silver!

Who will gain control of the good ship Hispaniola? Who will be the first to find the treasure? Who will make it safely back to Bristol in one piece? All will be revealed in ‘The Pirates Of Treasure Island’ in 2015!
