Thorpe Hall School launches “Young Talent Pathways” for every child in Reception – Year 2

From a very early age, every parent knows what their child loves, and what makes them shine - and every child is unique. Now, local independent school Thorpe Hall School is launching a bespoke educational programme, specifically for Reception – Year 2 children, which it claims will provide each pupil with ‘an education as unique as they are’.
The Young Talent Pathways programme is designed to create unique pathways for every child in collaboration with parents and caregivers, right from the start of their formal education. The programme is designed to bring out the best in every child, no matter where their talents lie.
The school, based in Southend, Essex, is committed to understanding and identifying the emerging talents of each individual child from as early as possible. On joining the school, dedicated staff will consult with parents, identify each child's unique aptitudes, and create their bespoke Young Talent Pathway. The pathway will outline how the school will nurture and enhance their focus areas, through measures such as personalised, diversified sessions, delivered by specialist staff, included as part of each child’s standard weekly timetable.
Headteacher Mr Stephen Duckitt says the approach is unmatched in the area, and its benefits to each child will extend way past the enhancement of specific skills or strengths:
He says:
“Nurturing a child’s own personal drives, interests and aptitudes from as young as possible is the best way to ignite a passion for learning and build a bedrock of confidence that will benefit children in all stages and areas of their education. Thanks to Thorpe Hall’s size, the breadth and scale of our facilities, and our incredible staff, we are in a brilliant position to offer this new approach to every child in Reception to Year 2 –a truly personalised educational pathway from the very beginning.”

Parents who are curious to find out more can also sign up to Thorpe Hall’s upcoming Open Mornings in March and May, or contact the school to book a private tour.
