Total Palace SEND Youth Theatre – Places Available for Spring and Summer Term

The Southend Theatres are delighted to offer local young people with special educational needs and disabilities Total Palace; a theatre group to help them develop and grow in confidence and skill. Our SEND specialist drama classes explore drama, theatre, music, art and more!

Young people, particularly those with additional needs, can be nervous about joining a theatre or extra-curricular group. Southend Theatres aims to make the process relaxed and stress free through the leadership of experienced and sensitive arts and SENCO specialist staff and the fun activities they bring to classes each week. Total Palace is a great group in which young people can develop self-confidence, socialisation skills and meet new people in a positive, supportive, and caring environment.

Total Palace is just one of the regular Youth Theatre Groups which run across the Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre. All groups take part in an annual end of year showcase on the Palace Theatre stage.

Total Palace:

· Wednesdays during term time

· 4pm to 4:45pm for 8 - to 11-year-olds

· 5pm to 5:45pm for 12 - to 16-year-olds

· £50 per term, per participant.

· The classes run regularly in the Admirals Room at the Cliffs Pavilion.
