Woman charged with murder
Christina Acres, 36 or Rochford Garden Way, has been remanded in custody since the incident on Monday and has now been officially charged. She will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court tomorrow.
The victim, named as 7 year old George Acres, was found at the address in Rochford, where he later died in hospital.
A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow to establsh the cause of death.
