YES Network to round off the year with Pop-up shop and final networking event
The YES (Young Entrepreneurs Southend-on-Sea) Network will close 2024 with two standout events for young business minds and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Following a successful year of workshops and networking, YES will join the Big Up Southend Makers Market for a pop-up shop on Saturday, 30 November, before hosting a final networking event at OneHub Southend in December.
The pop-up shop at Big Up Southend offers YES Network members a unique chance to showcase and sell their products while connecting with Southend’s vibrant maker and entrepreneurial community. It’s a prime opportunity to experience the creativity and talent of Southend’s young business owners first hand.
The final event at OneHub Southend will celebrate the achievements of 2024, feature a young entrepreneur's journey, and provide a sneak peek into YES Network’s plans for 2025. Attendees can expect an inspiring atmosphere for networking, plus the chance to make valuable connections for the new year.
Ben Cluett, economic development officer at Southend-on-Sea City Council, said: “We’re excited to participate in the Big Up Southend Makers Market and look forward to wrapping up the year with our final event. These gatherings have proven the power of a strong support network, and we’re eager to build on this momentum in 2025.”
YES Network continues to grow, welcoming young entrepreneurs from across Essex to connect, build networks, and gain valuable insights. With over 50 attendees per event, YES offers an encouraging environment for tomorrow’s business leaders.
Cllr Matt Dent, cabinet member for business, culture, and tourism, added: “It’s inspiring to see Southend’s young entrepreneurs collaborating and making strides toward their future. Networks like YES are essential for fostering innovation and economic growth, and we’re excited to see these young leaders’ impact.”
