Planned road and pavement improvements announced for December
Three roads and pavements across Southend-on-Sea are planned for repairs and resurfacing starting in December as the council continues its £10m highways investment programme for 2022/23.

Planned highways improvement works announced for November
Two roads and four pavements across the Borough are planned for repairs and resurfacing throughout November as the council continues its £10m highways investment programme for 2021/22.
Electric vehicle charging points in new builds proposed
All new housing and commercial developments built in Southend-on-Sea could have electric vehicle charging points, as part of a proposed new planning policy to be discussed at cabinet next week.
