A Mexican wave of joy
On Friday, I took the day off work and I volunteered my services to help my partner Jo run a pop-up afternoon tea at the Fishermen's Chapel in Old Leigh.

I talk a lot. Do you? Are you a witterer? I totally am, and Leigh-on-Sea.com are enablers for my chats because what is a blog if not a great big monologue out into the ether? (thanks guys!)
I got off my chest last week how much I dislike the commercial Christmas adverts, but as we approach December I'm softening and getting all festive and sparkly...

On Saturday, countless kids including those of my friends, will be sitting down with sweaty palms and shaky knees to take the 11+.
I've had the blimmin' National Anthem in my head all weekend. I really can't stand that tune.
On Saturday morning, I went to the local bakery. I wanted a sourdough baguette - the best around.
